On Wednesday 10 July, the fourth stage of the Giro d’Italia Women, the women’s version of the Corsa Rosa, will start from Imola, the route of which was presented by the organizing company RCS Sport on Tuesday 12 December in Milan.
The stage will measure 133 km and will start in the direction of Castel Bolognese, to then end in Urbino after touching the provinces of Bologna, Ravenna, Forlì-Cesena and Rimini. The Giro d’Italia Women will take place from 7 to 14 July; in 2023 it was won by the Dutch Annemiek van Vleuten. The stage departure from Imola will take place ten days after the passage of the Tour de France on Sunday 30 June during the Cesenatico-Bologna: two close opportunities to see the great international cycling on our roads.
