Actions to reduce environmental impact and enhance social and economic impacts
Formula Imola S.p.A. intends to enhance the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari from the point of view of sustainability by stimulating every possible action in the short, medium and long term to reduce environmental impacts, at the same time enhancing the social and economic spin-offs produced by the multifunctional facility on the local community.
This is an important list of actions of regard towards the environment and involvement towards all stakeholders in relation to living together with the city and its inhabitants.
ISO 20121 CERTIFICATION
The decision to adopt an integrated system for sustainable event management, which is necessary for applying for and achieving ISO 20121 certification, is a significant step forward in the path of environmental, social and economic sustainability undertaken by the Autodromo di Imola.
This decision leads to the implementation of the values and intentions promoted by the standard and foundational to this sustainability policy, such as:

Formula Imola S.p.A. has signed a sustainability policy, based on the principles and values of the international standard ISO 20121, which indicates a commitment to improving the environmental, social and economic impact of Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari.
With this in mind, it is committed to:
Respect the fundamental principles of sustainable development and contribute to the achievement of the goals set forth by the United Nations
Design the management of the Autodromo taking into consideration the principles and values listed above
Raise awareness and involve all stakeholders on the issue of environmental, economic and social sustainability

Promote broad and up-to-date information on sustainability issues

FIA ENVIRONMENTAL ACCREDITATION PROGRAM
Autodromo Internazionale Enzo and Dino Ferrari recently achieved the third “three star” level of the FIA Environmental Accreditation Program, the International Automobile Federation’s environmental accreditation program designed to help motorsports stakeholders around the world measure and improve their environmental performance.
