How to reach WEC 6H of Imola

The Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola is preparing to host one of the most eagerly awaited events of the season,with thousands of fans ready to experience the adrenaline rush of Formula 1 at a venue that is a symbol of world motorsport. To ensure a smooth and seamless experience, we recommend planning your trip in advance and choosing the most convenient transport option for you.
Below you will find all the information you need to reach the circuit by car, train, shuttle bus and dedicated event transport.
- Parking
On the occasion of the WEC, as per the map published below, unmanned pay car parks have been set up in the vicinity of the Autodrome.
Daily rates:
- bus € 60,00
- bus up to 16 seats € 20,00
- car up to 9 seats € 15,00
- motorbike € 7,00
- caravan / camper / caravan € 22,00
The parking area for buses / coaches is exclusively P20 via Guicciardini.
Some of the spaces can be reserved and will be guaranteed even in the event of bad weather; the reservation will allow access to the reserved parking space during opening hours (from 6.00 a.m.).

For those who have not made a reservation, on the days of the event it will be possible to choose from the parking areas subject to availability.
For the people with disabilities, who are in possession of a regular ticket, free parking spaces have been set aside in Piazzale Leonardo da Vinci (see map above); the disabled will also be able to access the other parking spaces indicated on the map free of charge, subject to space availability.
- Arriving by car
If you are travelling by car, the Autodromo di Imola is easily reached via the A14 Bologna-Taranto motorway, with the Imola exit.
From here, the circuit is just a few kilometres away and the road signs dedicated to the event will guide you to the official car parks.
- Arriving by train
The train is one of the most convenient ways to reach the Imola Autodrome on Grand Prix days. The Imola Railway Station is located just 2 km from the circuit and offers direct connections with the main Italian cities:
- From Bologna: approximately 20 minutes
- From Milan: approximately 2 hours
- From Florence: approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes
- From Rome: approximately 3 hours
Once you arrive at the station, you can continue on foot (approximately 20-25 minutes) through the city centre. All information about special trains will be available close to the event on the Trenitalia website.
- Camping and hospitality
Temporary camping is NOT planned for this event.
Please note that CAMPERS may park in any car park set up, but without any camping manoeuvres (sleeping inside is allowed, but without opening the awning, placing tables outside, etc.); any action assimilated to ‘camping’ will be PENALISED according to art. 9 of the Municipal Regulations.
